ESA is again offering young scientists the opportunity to undertake innovative research projects aimed at advancing the understanding of the Earth system, with a call for proposals for the Changing Earth Science Network initiative.

1st International SPACE World Conference
Challenges to explore planets and to fly into the space November 2 - 4, 2010
Exhibition Centre Frankfurt, Germany
 
Call for Abstracts - Deadline 30th of April, 2010
 e would like to announce the first international SPACE World Conference.
 
SPACE World shall establish a meeting place for everyone involved in space
technologies and missions. 2010 we will meet for the 1st time during the AIRTEC
exhibition in Frankfurt from November 2nd-4th, 2010.
As space discovery will see more and more programs in the
earth and planet exploration and in space flight missions, SPACE World is one of the
focal meeting points for science, industry, and users, be it governmental and nongovernmental.
The 2010 conference will cover all aspects of space technology and
challenges from the design and operation of satellites for earth and planet exploration to
space flight operations, from structures to rocket engines, from sensors to data links,
from communication to navigation and last not least from operational aspects for
transportation, logistics and safety.
 
Please find here the first call for abstracts for the conference. We would like to invite you to attend the conference as speaker or visitor. Chairman of the conference will be Professor Dr.rer.nat. Klaus Schilling from the University of Würzburg. A scientific and technical advisory board will consist of members from ESA/ESOC, universities, institutions and from the industry.
 
The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition, which will present
design, structures, systems, sensors, safety and logistics related to space technologies
and operations. You are invited to exhibit in the SPACE World exhibition area.

ESA Business Incubation - Open call for proposals

ESA Business Incubation Centres (ESA BICs), its associated network of business incubators and the European Space Incubators Network (ESINET) are designed to bridge the gap between an idea and by helping a technology transfer project get off the ground and assisting its development into a viable business.
 
The Technology Transfer Programme Office (TTPO) seeks entrepreneurs with innovative ideas for using space technology, applications and services in a non-space environment.
Business Incubation is available at the following sites: BIC ESTEC in the Netherlands, BIC ESOC in Germany, BIC ESRIN in Italy and BIC Oberpfaffenhofen in Germany

The
deadline to submit proposals to the four ESA Business Incubation Centres is set up on Tuesday, 02 February 2010.
